ABOUT THE CINCINNATI BLACKSMITHS GUILD:

Group photos of the original members of the Cincinnati Blacksmiths Guild
At the Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil (SOFA) QuadState in 2015, a few friends and fellow blacksmiths from the Cincinnati area were talking about the number of people they had met earlier in the day also from the greater Cincinnati area. One of the blacksmiths, Chris Daniel, owner of Blue Hell Studio in Cincinnati, and demonstrator at that year's conference mentioned that a number of people had come up to him, asking about his studio, where he teaches classes saying that they had no idea he was located in Cincinnati. It was at that moment when the idea of a guild was born out of a conversation around a camp fire.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The purpose of the Cincinnati Blacksmiths Guild is to foster interest in the art of blacksmithing and to help aspiring blacksmiths in the community.
